SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Law enforcement officials say a Lowcountry man wanted for a crime that took place nearly a decade ago was arrested after his roommate became suspicious of him and did a Google search.

Brandon Figaro was arrested on Tuesday for an armed robbery at the Papa John's on Trolley Road in Summerville in 2006.

According to officials with the Summerville Police Department, the suspect's roommate used Google to search Figaro's name and found a Live 5 News' Most Wanted article stating that Figaro was wanted for an armed robbery.

The roommate then called law enforcement.

SPD officials say Figaro is accused of terrorizing two employees at the Papa John's, and was wanted for armed robbery and other charges in connection to the incident.

Detectives at the time said Figaro made one big mistake during the robbery, because one of the victims recognized him. They said they worked with him at one time at the same Papa John's that he allegedly robbed.
