DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Investigators have arrested two people Saturday, in addition to an arrest made Friday in connection to the theft of construction equipment on Daniel Island.

50-year-old Mark Walker of Hanahan and 44-year-old Elizabeth Dyson of West Montague Avenue were both arrested Saturday. 60-year-old Dennis Morgan Foxworth was arrested Friday afternoon. All three suspects are charged with grand larceny.

Foxworth's arrest stems from a theft that happened between Wednesday night and Thursday morning when someone stole several items from a construction site on Lesesne Street.

The stolen items included a saw, a cord, a heater, posts and a bag of hand tools.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, officers initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevy pickup that was seen leaving the area. Police say three people were spotted in the vehicle.

According to police, the driver of the truck ran from the scene, but was later identified as Walker.

The tools reported stolen were found in the back of the truck.

Foxworth, Walker and Dyson are also suspected in a burglary that happened on Feb. 21 at a home on Padgett Street, and a vandalism that occurred on Feb. 25 at a home on Delahow Street.

Police are continuing the investigation.
