Deputies: Body of missing Hollywood man discovered in Florida

PASCO COUNTY, FL (WCSC) - The body of a Hollywood man who had not been heard from since January was located in Florida on Sunday, according to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.

The body of Bruce Allen Damon, 54, was discovered in Pasco County, Florida, which is just north of Tampa, according to Charleston County Sheriff's Maj. Eric Watson.

Authorities had been searching for Damon since February. He told one of his children on Jan. 29 that he felt ill, and this was the last time anyone had heard from him, authorities say.

There are no details on how he was located or the manner of death. At the time of his disappearance, authorities had said they did not suspect foul play.
