CHARLESTON, SC - Following a 5-0 week, No. 18 College of Charleston baseball made a jump in all five polls recognized by the NCAA this week, now raking in the top-20 nationally across the board.

The Cougars climbed as high as No. 18 according to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and USA Today Coaches Poll. Charleston was ranked No. 19 by both Baseball America and D1Baseball, and No. 20 by Collegiate Baseball.

In the all-important NCAA RPI, which factors teams' wins and losses and strength of schedule, the Cougars are currently ranked 25th. The RPI is weighted heavily by the NCAA Tournament selection committee when determining at-large bids, regional hosts, and tournament seeding.
