NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Speed Week made its stop in North Charleston Tuesday night.
Bicyclists from all over the country participated in a race in Park Circle.
The race is part of the USA Crits Championship Series where cyclists compete on closed circuit courses at high speeds right in the heart of urban settings.
Daniel Holloway won Tuesday night's race.
There are nine races total, with the overall winner to be crowned in St. Louis.
Criteriums are usually run on short distances through city streets.
The event offers spectators to watch cyclists up close as they bike through at high speeds.
