Museum street party to celebrate with French cuisine

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The sixth annual Gibbes on the Street Party is poised for a celebration of art inspired by the dramatic French turn-of-the-century flair, entitled
La Belle Époque
.
A Parisian-style
fête
will take place at 135 Meeting Street in front of the Gibbes Museum of Art. The party is on Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Top Charleston chefs will be present at this event to serve sweets and treats inspired by French cuisine.
Guests of the event must be at least 21 years of age. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The cost is $150 to members of the museum, and $175 to non-members.
Chefs will be representing restaurants including Brasserie Gigi, Baguette Magic, Caviar & Bananas, Charleston Grill, Chirstophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier, Circa 1886, Cypress, Edmund's Oast, FIG, Goat.Sheep.Cow, The Grocery, Halls Chophouse, McCrady's, Oak Steakhouse, The Obstinate Daughter, 167 Raw, Rue De Jean, Saveurs Du Monde, Slightly North of Broad, WildFlour Pastry, and Wild Olive.
