NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Three days through the North Charleston Arts Festival and organizers say they've already had a good turnout.
This is the 30th year of the nine-day festival.
Organizers say they're expecting a crowd of around 30,000 over the course of the event.
It has more than 200 exhibits featuring everything from painting to sculpture along with music and dance.
Organizers say having so much variety is what makes the festival so special.
"The main event is a real good opportunity for people to get exposed to different things," Marty Besancon, the North Charleston Cultural Event Coordinator said."They may be interested in one particular art form but then they'll come but because things are nearby they're able to see other types of art forms."
The festival officially wraps up on May 9.
