CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston County Coroner's Office say they have located the family of a man whose body was found in a North Charleston marsh last month.

Coroner Rae Wooten said on Monday that her office has located the sister of 63-year-old Leverne Reed who was found on April 18 in the area of Quitman Street.

Authorities had been trying to locate Reed's family members since his body was located.

According to Wooten, Reed was last seen on April 9 after leaving the hospital and taking a cab home.

The cab dropped him off in the area of Rivers and Dorchester.

Wooten said autopsy findings indicate there was no foul play in Reed's death.
