Firefighters investigating early morning blaze in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston firefighters are investigating after a vacant home went up in flames early Thursday morning.
Dispatch says the call came in shortly after 3:00 a.m. for a structure fire in the area of Elder Avenue and James Bell Drive in a neighborhood off Rivers Avenue to I-526.
The home was vacant at the time of the fire, and no one was injured, according to North Charleston Fire Department spokesperson Bianca Bourbeau.
Crews are now working to determine the cause of the blaze.
