SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - The suspect and victim in a fatal shooting at a Summerville gas station dated the same girl, according to a Facebook post.

The post was made Tuesday by a girl, who we are not identifying, who says she dated both the shooting victim, Travis Gordon, and suspect Thomas Shewtzuk.

Talking about Gordon, she wrote, "We dated and loved each other for a (expletive) year."

She also talks about Shewtzuk and says she dated him for four months.

She wrote, "Yes, I was in love with Thomas for a short period of time but it wasn't REAL love. It was fake love. Me and Travis were real love. I loved Travis more than anything else in this world and I wish everyone would see that. He will always have a place in my heart."

Dorchester County investigators are not saying what the motive may have been for Saturday's shooting or if it was over the girl.

However they do tell us that Shewtzuk, Gordon and a third person drove together in Gordon's car to the BP gas station Saturday morning.

Authorities say the suspect and victim went inside, Gordon said something to the clerk that Shewtzuk appeared to have heard.

Investigators say Shewtzuk went outside and got a gun.

Deputies say the two exchanged brief words before Shewtzuk shot Gordon in the face and head.

Investigators are trying to determine what they were doing at the gas station.
