Report: Home invasion suspect shot after victim wrestles gun away

GREENVILLE, SC (WYFF) - Deputies were called to a home early Monday by a homeowner who said he had to fight off three armed intruders, getting a gun away from one of them.
Greenville deputies were called to the home, on East Castle drive, at about 3:40 a.m. The homeowner told deputies that the men broke into his home. He said he was able to wrestle a gun away from one of the men and he fired at the intruders, wounding one of them.
The man said the other men fired back at him as they ran out of the house, but he was not injured.
The homeowner gave deputies a description and the men and their vehicle. Greenville police spotted the vehicle a short time later, pulled it over and arrested the three men inside, Tywaun Marquise Hines and Jakoye Devon Pinson, both 21, and Reshaun Marquis Scott, 20.
Hines is charged with conspiracy, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, first-degree burglary and attempted murder.
Pinson is charged with conspiracy, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault and battery and attempted murder.
Scott is charged with conspiracy, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault and battery and attempted murder
The suspects were being held in the Greenville County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
