Duo wanted for robbing downtown Charleston restaurant
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are on the lookout for two men wanted for robbing a downtown Charleston restaurant.
Charleston police say the suspects, one of whom was armed with a gun, entered the Tattooed Moose on 1337 Morrison Dr. through an unlocked rear door at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
"They took bank deposit bags, money from the cash register and a purse and wallet from the victims," police officials say.
Investigators describe the suspects as black males in their late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5'11" tall, medium to heavy builds and wearing all black clothing.
According to police, one of the suspects had what appeared to be a gray shirt covering his face, while the other suspect had a black shirt covering his face.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111 or Consolidated Dispatch at 743-7200 and ask for the on-call CPD detective.
