CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston investigators have arrested a third suspect in a March homicide.

The Charleston Police Department charged 17-year-old Devontay C. Bryant with murder.

Bryant was locked up at the Al Cannon Detention Center.

Bryant's charge stems from an incident on March 23 on Norman Street where officers responded to a report of gunshots being heard in the area.

Authorities say an unresponsive male subject, later identified as 25-year-old Brandon Washington, was found on a drive way on Norman Street.

CPD officers have already arrested 22-year-old Devin Middleton and 21-year-old Tequan Perry who are both charged with murder.

Perry also faces a charge of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Police are continuing the investigation.
