CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston Police Department say they are increasing patrols at the Emanuel AME Church after a threatening message was left on the church's voicemail.

Last Thursday, officers responded to the church and made contact with a woman who discovered the message which was recorded on Dec. 6 at 6:02 p.m.

According to a CPD incident report, the message stated,"Hey guys this is Dillion, I"m coming back for round 2. I'm just kidding that actually wasn't Dillion Roof."

Police say at the end of the message officers could hear a computer keyboard typing in the background.

Church officials said the message was the only threatening message left on the recorder.

Crime Scene also responded to the church.

Dylann Roof is accused in the fatal shooting of nine parishoners at the church.
