WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say an ongoing dispute led a 55-year-old Andrews man to fire a rifle multiple times into a home in Williamsburg County.
Investigators arrested Charles Lewis Bazen of Andrews at a home on West Juniper Street on Wednesday morning and charged him with two counts of attempted murder.
Bazen's arrest stems from an incident at a home on Aimwell Road on Jan. 18.
"According to Investigators, Charles Lewis Bazen is alleged to have discharged a rifle into the victim's residence multiple times due to an ongoing dispute," WCSO officials said.
A sheriff's office report states Bazen had been making repeated threats to harm the victim before the shooting occurred.
An arrest warrant states Bazen fired eight times into the home.
Bazen was locked up at the Williamsburg County Detention Center.
The sheriff's office is continuing the investigation.
