CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Some local people now have mementos that will long outlast the democratic South Carolina Presidential Primary this weekend.

Several people got tattoos commemorating Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders at Blu Gorilla Tattoo in Charleston this past weekend.

Dimitri Cherny, who plans to run for the 1st Congressional District seat currently held by Mark Sanford, got a tattoo featuring the outline of Sanders, including his glasses and hairline.

"I did it - inked my commitment to Bernie, my first tattoo," Cherny wrote in a post on his campaign's Facebook page.

Sanders, along with Hillary Clinton and Willie Wilson, will appear on the ballot for the democratic South Carolina Presidential Primary on Saturday.
