Police: Man pointed gun during party, threatened to shoot people

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police are searching for a 26-year-old man they say brandished a firearm at a party and threatened to open fire.

Michael Anthony Nesbitt, Jr. is wanted for pointing a firearm, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.

The incident occurred on Monday at approximately 2:30 p.m. at a party being held at an address in the 2400 block of Etiwan Avenue, police say.

Nesbitt is accused of pointing a firearm at several people and threatening to shoot, Francis said.

Nesbitt stands 5'10" and weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
