Events scheduled for 'Mother' Emanuel Nine remembrance
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Commemoration programs and events for the first-year anniversary of the shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church are set to be held across Charleston.
According to a news release from the church, several organizations have partnered with the AME Church of South Carolina, Mother Emanuel. the city of Charleston and others to give people the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about unity among all races.
