ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies with the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office are searching for a person of interest in a case involving $5,000 worth of stolen lawn equipment.

OCSO investigators are looking for 33-year-old Demetric Duley of Orangeburg.

According to OCSO officials, the Cade Drive man may have information as to the whereabouts of the missing equipment.

"Duley is described as a black male standing about 5-8" tall and weighing around 215 pounds," OCSO officials said.

If anyone has any information on Duley's whereabouts, they are asked to call the OCSO at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.

On Aug. 29, investigators spoke with the owner of an orange SCAG-brand zero-turn mower and a Club Car golf cart with SS mag wheels who reported the items missing.

"The owner said he had left the lawn vehicles in the care of a subject for use in maintaining a residential area," OCSO officials said."When the owner couldn't contact the man after several weeks, he investigated to find his equipment missing."
