ECPI building in North Charleston evacuated due to possible gas leak

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The EPCI building in North Charleston was evacuated Wednesday afternoon due to a possible gas leak.

North Charleston Fire Department crews were spotted on scene at the building on 7410 Northside Dr.

According to witnesses, fire crews along with HAZMAT responded to the scene.

Employees say they were given the go ahead to return to the building around 4:30 p.m.

NCFD officials are investigating.
