SCDOT urges residents not to travel

SOUTH CAROLINA (WCSC) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation released a statement Saturday night urging people in South Carolina not to travel.

At least 338 roads and 14 bridges are closed due to Hurricane Matthew's effect on the state, according to SCDOT.

"Due to on going flooding, some areas have yet to be assessed.", SCDOT said.
