Town of Summerville to host Movies in the Park

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - The Town of Summerville will be hosing several movie events this Spring at Gahagan Park.

These events provide an opportunity for families and friends to enjoy the outdoors while watching movies on the big screen.

The events will be held at Sertoma Club Football Field at Gahagan Park located at 515 West Boundary Street in Summerville.

Movies will start around 8:15 p.m. or at dark for an optimal viewing experience.

This year the Town is excited to add live music before the movies beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Movies scheduled for the Spring Series include:

Residents should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating and arrive with plenty of time to park and get settled in prior to show time.

There will be several food vendors present with movie snacks available for purchase.
