Investigators say a 31-year-old man is accused of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a 10-year-old boy after pulling the child into a bedroom at a Summerville home.
The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office has charged Justin Anthony Vosicky with kidnapping and assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
On Monday, authorities spoke to a parent who told deputies that their 10-year-old son had told his school counselor at Beech Hill Elementary School that he had been inappropriately touched by an adult.
The juvenile told authorities that in September he had left his home and gone down the street to play football with his friend, and while walking, Vosicky called the two boys to his home.
According to an incident report, Vosicky sent the victim's friend upstairs, then pulled the victim to his downstairs bedroom and attempted to pull the juvenile's pants down.
The victim said he fought back, and after several minutes he was able to break free and return home.
The victim told authorities that Vosicky had attempted to force his way into his home a year ago. According to the victim, in that incident, he was able to get the door locked and call police.
