Live music, food trucks at the North Charleston Arts Fest

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Live music, Food trucks, art displays, beer gardens and children's activities - the North Charleston Arts Fest has it all.

The event begins Wednesday, May 2 and runs through Sunday, May 6.

There are events scheduled throughout the city of North Charleston - most are free, but others are ticketed.

The North Charleston Arts Fest was selected as a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Among the activities - the Marsh Jam on Thursday, May 3, at The Bend with live music, live art, food trucks and a local beer garden. On Friday, May 4, there is the Arty Block Party

In the Old Village area of North Charleston on East Montague Avenue. This event includes an Artists' Market, live music, kids' activities and more.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6, the Arts Fest takes over parts of the North Charleston Convention Center with performances, vendors, tons of visual art on display, kids' activities and more.

The North Charleston Arts Fest includes concerts, theater presentations, movie screenings, exhibitions, as well as workshops and art demonstrations.
