CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Honoring our military members past and present. That's what the Charleston Riverdogs will be doing at Joe Riley Stadium (The Joe) Friday night.
Riley Park will be filled with the sounds of live country music for the second annual Salute to Service Concert. The concert is in partnership with Budweiser to honor those who are serving or who have served our country. It's one way for you to kick off your Memorial Day Weekend with fun while honoring our country's veterans at the same time.
The concert will feature a star-studded lineup of country artists, including reigning CMA artists the Brothers Osborne, the ACM Vocal Duo of the Year. Because of the concert, there will be no Riverdogs game Friday.
Also featured singer-songwriter Chase Bryant and emerging country star Logan Mize. Proceeds will support Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships for military families.
Gates at "The Joe" open Friday night at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m.
