CofC, Holbrook agree in principle to contract extension

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Chad Holbrook will be with the College of Charleston thru the 2023 season.
Athletic Director Matt Roberts confirmed Saturday the school and Holbrook have reached an agreement in principle to keep him with the Cougars for the next five seasons.
On Friday the website D1baseball.com listed Holbrook as one of the possible candidates to fill the Kansas State job. Wildcats officials got a first hand look at the coach when CofC took two of three against the Wildcats this year.
The Cougars finished the regular season at 36-19 and finished in 3rd place in the CAA standings.
The Cougars were ousted in the CAA tournament earlier this week.
