DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Coroner's Office has identified the victim of an accident on I-26 in Dorchester County that left one person dead and three others injured on Thursday night.
At 7:13 p.m., 52-year-old Oneita Williams of Pineville, was killed in a single-vehicle accident near the 183 mile marker, according to Coroner Paul J. Brouthers.
Highway Patrol says Williams' SUV was traveling westbound when it lost control, went off the roadway and overturned.
SCHP officials say three passengers were transported to MUSC with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Coroner's Office.
