Brightwell, Wood tied for lead after two rounds at Rice Planters

MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Jonathan Brightwell and Garrett Wood have posted matching 68's in first two rounds of the Rice Planters Amateur. The pair are tied for the lead at 8-under par.

Notre Dame product is in third a 5-under. Eighteen other players are under par at the halfway point of the tournament.

Neither Brightwell nor Wood had a bogey on their back nine today. Brightwell birdied two of his last three. while Wood birdied 15 and 16 to get to 8-under.
