MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley rising senior athlete DJ Chisolm announced on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon that he has verbally committed to play football at East Carolina.

In a statement Chisolm said "I'm blessed to say that I'd 110% committed to East Carolina University Go Pirates"

Chisolm, who returns kicks and punts and plays slot back and receiver, is projected as a receiver at the next level. He set a Berkeley record for receptions last season with 68 while compiling over 1,500 yards of total offense and 17 total touchdowns.

Chisolm chose ECU over offers from The Citadel, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern and others.
