GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - The city of Goose Creek wants to close the deal on selling its old fire department headquarters.
Located on Button Hall Avenue, the building was replaced by a new facility right down the street last year
A vote on the building isn't expected on Tuesday night, but the issue will be discussed among city council members. A city spokesperson said they see the building as a prime location with a lot of potential.
Matt Brady, economic director for the City of Goose Creek says building currently under contract with CityVolve, which is a development and consulting firm in North Charleston. The city would have to negotiate with the firm in order to sell the building.
