Folly Beach reopened to public after TS Florence moves through

FOLLY BEACH, SC (WCSC) - Folly Beach is now officially back open to the public following Tropical Storm Florence.

A nightly curfew was in effect on Folly Beach for the duration of the storm from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. every night.

Residents and property owners needed two forms of residency or proof of ownership before the restrictions were lifted.

The checkpoints will officially be removed at 1 p.m. on Saturday
