Firefighters investigating fire at Charleston apartment complex

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Crews are working to determine the cause of a fire that heavily damaged an apartment building in Charleston Tuesday afternoon.

Crews responded to a report at approximately 1:43 p.m. about a fire at the Bridgeview Apartment complex in the 100 block of North Romney Street.

As of shortly before 2:30 p.m., the fire appeared to be extinguished.

There has been no official word on injuries.
