NCFD: Fire at CSX Bennett Yard now under control

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a fire at the CSX Bennett Yard railway is now under control.
According to officials with the North Charleston Fire Department, crews responded at 1:30 p.m. to reports of an outside fire.
Crews found the fire in a wooded area alongside the track and five rail cars filled with wood chips.
Firefighters quickly attacked the fire.
A press release by NCFD states the fire is currently under control as firefighters remain on scene to ensure the fire is extinguished.
