CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - College Football Playoff bound Clemson have signed five-star recruits in cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. of Georgia and receiver Frank Ladson of Florida among its group of 26 recruits the Tigers are bringing in.

The second-ranked Tigers (13-0) will play No. 3 Notre Dame (12-0) in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29 for a spot in the national championship game.

Booth is a 6-foot-1, 188-pound defensive back who plans to enroll in July. Ladson is a 6-4 wideout who will enroll next month.

The Tigers signed players from 14 states, including California, Connecticut, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Clemson brought in one quarterback in Taison Phommachan from Bridgeport, Connecticut, to bolster its thin group that saw four passers, including last year's starter in Kelly Bryant, transfer from the school after the addition of current starter Trevor Lawrence.
