Firefighters respond to Hollywood structure fire

HOLLYWOOD, S.C. (WCSC) - Crews are responding to a structure fire in Hollywood Friday night.

The fire was reported at 5173 Town Council Dr. just after 10 p.m., according to St. Paul Fire Chief Truss Johnson.

Crews worked for 40 minutes to get the fire under control, Johnson said. Firefighters are doing a search of the building.

Charleston County EMS and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the fire.

No law enforcement officials were hurt while responding to the fire.

It’s unclear what started the fire or if any civilians were hurt.
