Power outages pop up across the Lowcountry amid stormy conditions

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Thousands of electric customers throughout the Lowcountry faced power outages Wednesday as a storm swept through the area.
All of the following is accurate as of 12:40 p.m.
Berkeley Electric Cooperative is seeing three total active outages and 591 customers without power.
Dominion Energy has eight outages across Charleston, Dorchester, Colleton and Beaufort Counties. Dominion officials reported 170 customers without power.
Santee Cooper has resolved its power outages.
The companies say they are investigating the cause of these outages and are working to repair them quickly.
At its worst, over 23,000 customers across the Lowcountry were without power.
