West Ashley Walmart barbershop argument leads to arrest Saturday, police say

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCSC) — A man was arrested in West Ashley Saturday afternoon after police said he got into an argument with barbers inside the barbershop at Walmart.

Sgt. Chris Stinson of the Charleston Police Department said one person was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Stinson said the man got into an argument with several barbers inside the barbershop at Walmart, located at 3951 W. Ashley Circle.

During the argument, Stinson said the suspect grabbed a pair of scissors before eventually leaving the barbershop and entering the Walmart aisles. Stinson said he continued yelling there, prompting several 911 calls.

The name of the suspect was not immediately available.
