CHARLESTON, SC - Charleston Southern will name former Clemson and North Greenville QB Willy Korn as their new WR coach on Tuesday Head Coach Jamey Chadwell confirmed on Twitter Monday night.

"Cat is out of the bag, coach Willy Korn will be joining our family as WR coach. As he always says if you can dream it you can do it" Chadwell tweeted.

Korn was one of the top high school quarterbacks in 2007 coming out of Byrnes High. He originally signed with Clemson and saw limited action over the course of 3 seasons throwing 3 touchdowns and rushing for 3 more.

He left the Tigers after the 2009 season and after a short stint at Marshall he found himself playing QB at North Greenville under Chadwell. Korn threw for over 1500 yards and 18 touchdowns for NGU in 2010.

Korn had signed a deal with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football league back in November. He gave thanks to the Rattlers for the chance on Twitter Monday night, but he's excited to be heading to CSU.

"Thanks to the @ArizonaRattlers for the opportunity - thrilled and honored to be named WR coach at Charleston Southern University! #Bucs"

One player who Korn will be coaching is his brother Colton who signed with CSU in February after spending a year at Gray Military Academy in Columbia.

"Congratulations to Coach Willy Korn" the younger brother tweeted "he used to be my brother, now he is my WR Coach at CSU"
