Flash flood warning ends for Berkeley, Charleston & Dorchester counties

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A flash flood warning that was issued for Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties Monday afternoon ended at 8:30 p.m.
Earlier in the day, a strong cold front moved through the area bringing along heavy rainfall, gusty winds and lightning.
Lighter rain and cooler temperatures are expected for the next few days.
According to the National Weather Service, as much as 2 to 6 inches of rain fell across the Tri-County area Monday evening.
